Our author is a married mother of many. She and her husband have raised biological children, internationally adopted children and foster children. They have a special needs daughter, and have raised second language learners. Together they home-schooled for many years. Our author wanted to put together a simple and fun book to be read with her grandchildren. It grew into a curriculum to be enjoyed by any English language learners.
